What are recipient rules?

Recipient rules allow you to specify whether a signature should be applied to a message based on the message recipient.

Similarly, recipient rules can be used to exclude a message from having a signature applied when sent to specified recipients.

The recipients defined in the recipient rules can be specific email addresses, or a recipient domain.

You can also use recipient rules to determine whether a signature should be applied when emailing internal recipients or external recipients.

To apply a signature based on the recipient of the message, see our How do I apply a signature based on the recipient of the message? article.

To exclude a signature based on the recipient of the message, see our How do I exclude signatures from being applied to emails sent to a specific address or domain? article.
