Text Wrap | Choose Wrap or No Wrap, as required. Note that if you choose to render the signature as a bitmap (rather than the default HTML), text wrapping will not be applied unless size properties are set for a fixed width. |
Background
Background properties are used to define what (if any) background is applied for this field:
None | No background applies for the text field. |
Color | Use the color picker to select a background color. |
Image | Select this option and click Upload Image to choose a background image for the text field. When you choose to apply a background image, the entire signature must be rendered (and applied) as a bitmap image - not HTML. A warning to this effect is displayed:
If you wish to proceed, click Yes to confirm. |
Visibility
Visibility properties are used to determine the circumstances under which this field should/should not be displayed:
Always visible | The default setting is to always display the field. |
Hidden if this field is empty | You can choose to hide this field if a (selected) user attribute is empty |
Auto-hiding separator | This option is only applicable for elements where multiple fields are defined on a single line, separated by a character (such as a comma or a pipe), and you wish to hide separators if no user data is present. For an example, please click here. |
Alignment
Alignment properties are used to determine horizontal and vertical alignment of the text:
Text | Determines alignment of the text within the field - choose Left, Center, Right, Justify or Inherit. |
Horizontal | Determines alignment of the field within the signature - choose Left, Center, Right, Justify or Stretch.
For example: Here, the Horizontal alignment is set to Center, so the text field is centered within the signature, but the Text alignment is set to Left, so the text within the field is left aligned. |
Border
Border properties are used to define borders for the field:
All | Select a border type, size and color and ensure that the All the same check box is ticked. These settings will be applied for all borders (left, right, top and bottom). This is the default setting (by default, no border is applied because the border size is set to 0). |

Size properties are used to define the size allowed for this field:
Width | Leave the default value of auto to allow this field to adjust its width, depending on the size of the message viewer. Alternatively, specify an exact width (in pixels or points). |
Height | Leave the default value of auto to allow this field to adjust its height, depending on the size of the message viewer. Alternatively, specify an exact width (in pixels or points). |

If you wish to proceed, click Yes to confirm. |
